wednesday update

Things have settled down here a little. Glucose is stable on dextrose. Neurometabolics came in earlier and they want Ava to see Dr Cohen. He is a Mitochondrial specialist in Akron. They are going to fax medical records over. I am actually happy about this. I love Cincinnati Childrens but its time for Ava to see a Mito doctor. Her primary ped knows Dr Cohen personally and they share a few patients. ava will be getting her GJ replaced in the next couple days. She had a nice run on g feeds but we need to switch to the J again. We are getting D10 and an IV pump lined up for home. Ava can get fluids at home and avoid being admitted. Thank God for her port. For now we are seeing favorite nurses and RTs. Ava has invited the lady that cleans the room over to our house to "play toys.". Haha She's known these people for 2 years now. Not sure how long she will be here.
