Ava and Dr Cotton
This year I'm thankful for a stable 3 year old. She's really been doing well. Even when she's having problems, we fix them and keep going. No admissions. It does seem like whenever she's not feeling well her blood sugar tanks. We have a plan with her endocrine doc to keep her outpatient when this happens. This year is so much better than last year as far as hospitalizations and illness.
Of course, now that I said that.....Ava will be admitted on Dec 11 for a few days. Dr Cotton wants to get another look at her airway, so ML&B it is! She's also getting tubes in her ears and adnoids removed. Her tonsils are pretty big, but he wants to hold off on that until he sees what her airway looks like. She will go in on the 11th, surgery on the 12th. I have to say I really love that doctor. He's is the nicest man.
We are honestly enjoying family and friends. Christian is 7 years old! What a little man he's becoming. I love him to pieces. He's crazy and so funny. :) We are all looking forward to Christmas.
