We are getting ready for school here. Lots of school shopping.:) I rarely update on all my children (biological and step!) since this blog has turned into Ava's health blog. So...here goes....
*Dakota is going into the sixth grade, her last year in elementary school. She's into cheerleading and boys. She's a total drama queen, which is exhausting.
*Christian is now a first grader. He's my wild child. Not happy unless he's outside. A real daredevil. Scares me on a daily basis.
*Skylar is a sophmore. She is 16 and almost a driver. Sometime this Winter she'll get her first car. She is devoted to church (and some of the boys there....ahem.....).
*Michael is a junior. He's the typical football-player-dating-the cheerleader and getting into all kinds of teenage mischief.
*Ellie is now a Mommy. She came home from LSU pregnant (she had a full soccer scholarship). She transferred to a local college to be closer to family. Her fiance is a young soldier who has already done one tour in Iraq, got severly injured by an IED, had hip replacement surgery and is going back to the war in a couple months. He'll be gone for at least 9 months. Baby Grayson (pictured above) was born 7 weeks early, spent some time in the NICU and is now doing great.
*Ava is looking forward to preschool. She will go 2 days a week, health permitting. She's a happy little thing.
