Ava is back in the hospital. She's febrile and tachycardic. We're waiting for an ekg to see if we can find a reason for her high heart rate, which is high even when her fever is down. She's on feeds and maintenance fluids (D10 H.N. saline). Blood sugar is good, for once. Hopefully we can get her fever to stay down, her tachycardia figured out and she can go home within the next day or two. We are really trying to keep her outpatient as much as possible.

Hugs hugs hugs. Prayers that all will be well.
Cute Ava is in my prayers! Hope they can figure everything out quickly. Happy to hear the blood sugars haven't gotten too bad.
Sorry to hear about another trip to the familiar sterility. We are thinking and praying for you guys.
Just checking on you guys and seeing this now. Sarah did (and still does) get tachycardic when she has a fever. The best explanation we were able to get was that her autonomic system (brain regulation) over reacts when her temperature rises. Really, really freaked out bunch of doctors (as she was hypertensive as well. Hope this is just a fluke. Hang in there!
